We just launched a public API for GitKraken Glo Boards! Now’s your chance to develop apps that extend the usability and usefulness of Glo. We’ve come up with 10 categories to inspire you!
Submit your projects early and we'll showcase them on this page!
Submission deadline is March 31, 2019
Winners will be announced April 10, 2019
The top submission in each category will win $1,000 in cash prizes!
Depending on the quality of submissions, we may choose one winner from each category or multiple winners from certain categories and none from others.
- Import/Export/Sync Tools
This category is for tools that allow easy importing of cards into–or exporting cards out of–Glo boards. *Psst* We’ve already gotten requests to be able to import/export from Jira, Trello, GitLab, CSV, etc. And you can use webhooks for two-way syncing.
- Slack Integration
At minimum, you’ll want to develop a way for users to view, create and update Glo cards from Slack. To win this category, you’ll likely have to be a bit more ambitious with your integration’s functionality!
- Chrome Extension
Develop a way to create Glo cards while browsing–especially creating a card that relates to the current web URL (and even the user’s selection on that page). To win this one, you might want to take a peek at the next category and think about adding screenshot capabilities!
- Screenshot Tool
For starters, create a standalone screenshot tool that can create a Glo card and add the screenshot to the card automagically. From there, the possibilities are endless; so, get creative to win!
- Time Tracking
This one is pretty straight forward. Help users keep track of how much time is spent on a given Glo card.
- Voice Assistant Integration
"Hey Alexa, Google, Siri..." "Add a card to my Glo Board." "Show me new cards assigned to me today." Help users interact with their Glo boards via voice commands.
- IoT Integration
Think buttons, lights, keyboards… Toasters?! With this category, you can integrate Glo Boards with whatever hardware you want.
- CI/CD Integrations
Help users kickoff CI/CD processes when a Glo card goes into a particular workflow column, and then update the card with the build and test results. Move the card back in the workflow if it needs some more work. Automate everything!!
- IDE Integrations
We already have plugins for Atom and VSCode, but you can help users access Glo from other IDEs. Regardless where you work, less context switching means greater productivity!
Have a Glo app idea that doesn’t fit any of the other categories? Good. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
How to Enter:
