Threaded Per-Process Tabs
Speed, usability, and flexibility. Tabs have been one of the most welcomed and popular features in GitKraken to date, so we’re working on some major architectural improvements to make tabs faster, and even more flexible and useful by enabling each tab to live in it’s own processor thread. Threaded Per-Process Tabs will make switching between tabs faster, but will also allow long running processes to continue running in a tab after you switch tabs, and more. This significant architectural change is also the foundation to unlock some exciting new future capabilities planned for GitKraken down the road.
As GitKraken continually adds new Git productivity features in each release, In-app Notifications are designed to help GitKraken communicate information you want to know, such as the running command status, team communications, and upgrade notices - without getting in your way.
