How do I approve or deny what a Claude Code agent wants to do?

When a Claude Code session asks to run a file or change a directory, the request now shows up inline in the agent panel with Allow and Deny controls and the specifics of what it’s requesting. You answer it right there. No switching into the worktree, no losing your place.

How do I start an agent session from an issue instead of a blank prompt?

Launch a coding agent straight from a Launchpad issue or the Left Panel issue list, and it opens already primed with that issue’s context. The copy-paste step is gone.

How do I tell which agent needs my attention?

The Agents toggle in the Left Panel now surfaces the highest-priority status across all your sessions, with a tooltip showing how many are in that state. 

Claude Code and OpenCode report live status (Running, Thinking, Waiting for Input), and an eye icon jumps you to any session started outside GitKraken Desktop.

How do I get back to a pinned branch that’s scrolled out of view?

A thumbtack button now lives in the graph’s GRAPH column header whenever a branch is pinned. Click it, and the graph scrolls to and selects that branch.

How do I delete a branch that’s checked out in a worktree?

Git blocks this by default. In 12.4, right-clicking that branch in the graph offers to remove its worktree as part of the delete. 

A Merged PR status pill on agent panel cards, the toolbar, and commit details shows you what’s already shipped, so cleanup is a decision instead of a guessing game.

How do I review a pull request without leaving my terminal context?

Launch a review from GitKraken Desktop into GitKraken Code Review at gitkraken.dev. 

Mark files as reviewed, manage reviewers, and use the built-in AI panel to get a summary of what changed and ask questions about the code.

The AI handles the “what changed here” part. The judgment stays with you.
